Travel from Hoi An to Hue by open jeep: the 1,000-year-old Bang An Tower, coffee at the top of the Hai Van Pass, a spring bath at Suoi Mo, a seafood lunch at Lang Co, Tu Hien Bridge and Hue's 'Ghost City' – finishing at your hotel in Hue.

Why just transfer to Hue when the road itself is one of the most beautiful in Vietnam? This one-way jeep journey turns the 165 km between Hoi An and Hue into a day out.

You leave Hoi An across green rice fields to Bang An Tower, a 1,000-year-old Champa temple, then climb the Hai Van Pass – the 'Cloud Pass', famous for its clouds, winding roads and views – and stop for coffee at the top with Da Nang and the coastline spread out below.

On the far side, the jeep runs past Lap An Lagoon to the springs of Suoi Mo for a refreshing bath, then down to Lang Co Bay for a seafood lunch. Tu Hien Bridge is the place for photos with the jeeps, and a village known as the 'Ghost City' surprises with its tomb architecture before you're dropped at your hotel in Hue.

    Drive on to Lang Co Bay (12:30–12:45) and have lunch at a local seafood restaurant (12:45–1:30).

  • Group of 2–20 guests (minimum 2 guests).
  • Children 1–4 travel free, sharing a seat and meals with their parents. Children 5–9 pay the child price (2,002,000 VND). From 10 years old: adult price (2,660,000 VND).
  • Prices don't apply on Vietnamese public holidays and Tet; surcharge 100,000 VND per person on 1/1, 30/4, 1/5 and 20–21/02/2026.
  • No departures 15–19/02/2026 (Tet).
  • Pick-up is free from hotels in Hoi An city (and Da Nang city); drop-off is at your hotel in Hue city centre. Hotels in Thang Binh or Duy Xuyen district (e.g. Hoiana Resort, Bliss, Tui Blue) and other areas pay a transfer surcharge, quoted on request.
