Stellar of the Seas Cruise 2 Days 1 Night: Ha Long Bay & Lan Ha Bay

A night on Stellar of the Seas, a 22-suite ship with a pool deck, mini golf and spa. Swim or kayak at Ao Ech, BBQ dinner by the pool, and the Dark & Bright Cave next morning.

Stellar of the Seas has sailed since November 2018: 65 metres long, 22 suites for up to 62 guests. There is a pool on deck (open in season), a mini golf green, a wine and cigar cellar, a spa, a fitness room and a panoramic bar.

The ship follows the same route as its sister ship into Lan Ha Bay: an afternoon at Ao Ech for swimming or kayaking, sunset tea by the pool, a cooking demonstration and a BBQ dinner on deck. In the morning there is golf, Tai Chi and tea, then a rowing boat or kayak into the Dark & Bright Cave.

    Jour 1

    Day 1: Hanoi – Tuan Chau – Lan Ha Bay

    Kayaking beside Stellar of the Seas

    08:15–08:35: pick-up from your hotel in Hanoi if you book the transfer.

    11:15–11:45: check in at the pier on Tuan Chau.

    12:00: a speedboat takes you out to Stellar of the Seas; you are on board around 12:15 with a welcome drink and safety briefing.

    12:30: lunch as the ship sails towards Lan Ha Bay.

    14:00: check in to your cabin.

    15:00–17:00: Ao Ech area: swim, kayak or stay on board by the pool. Drone photos of the ship from about 16:30.

    17:30: sunset tea by the pool.

    18:00: cooking demonstration and happy hour until 19:00.

    19:00: BBQ dinner by the pool.

    20:30: squid fishing, mini golf or the spa. On Saturday and Sunday nights there are fireworks.

    Jour 2

    Day 2: Dark & Bright Cave – Tuan Chau – Hanoi

    Sundeck with loungers at the stern

    05:45: sunrise golf on the deck, then Tai Chi (06:15) and a tea ceremony (06:30).

    06:45: light breakfast.

    07:30: Dark & Bright Cave by rowing boat or kayak.

    09:30: pack and check out.

    09:45: brunch as the ship sails back; settle your bill around 10:15.

    11:00: speedboat back to the harbour (about 11:15). With the transfer you reach Hanoi around 14:00–14:15.
