A night on Capella Cruise, the 30-suite flagship of the Lyra Cruise Collection: balconies and bay-view bathtubs in every suite, an infinity pool, a waterslide, kayaking in Frog Lagoon and the Dark & Bright Cave by bamboo boat.

Capella Cruise was launched in 2020 and is the first ship of the Lyra Cruise Collection. It keeps an intimate scale: 30 suites across six decks, each opening onto a private balcony or terrace, with floor-to-ceiling windows and a bathtub facing the karsts.

Days revolve around the water. In the afternoon the ship anchors in Frog Lagoon for kayaking and swimming, and the signature waterslide drops you straight into the bay. The heated infinity pool, mini-golf and Poker Club fill the hours in between.

Next morning, a bamboo boat takes you into the Dark & Bright Cave before brunch on the way back to Tuan Chau.

Day 1: Tuan Chau – Ha Long Bay – Frog Lagoon
11:30: check in at the Lyra Cruise Collection lounge at Tuan Chau International Port.
12:00: a tender takes you out to Capella Cruise. Welcome drink and safety briefing from your cruise manager.
13:00: buffet lunch in the Harmony of the Sea restaurant as the ship sails through Ha Long Bay towards Lan Ha Bay.
15:00: Frog Lagoon (Ao Ech). Kayak or swim in the sheltered water, ride the waterslide, or stay in the heated pool and jacuzzi.
17:00: visit the wheelhouse to meet the captain, then sunset drinks and snacks in the lounge.
18:00: cooking demonstration: learn a Vietnamese dish with the chefs.
19:00: set-menu dinner in the restaurant.
20:45: film night with popcorn, poker with a professional dealer or squid fishing off the stern. Overnight on board in Lan Ha Bay.

06:00: sunrise Tai Chi on the sundeck.
06:15: breakfast in the restaurant.
06:45: Dark & Bright Cave by bamboo rowing boat: through a low passage into a still, round lagoon ringed by cliffs.
09:00: back on board to pack and check out.
09:30: brunch as the ship cruises back to port.
10:30: ashore at Tuan Chau by tender, by 11:00.
