A night on Elite of the Seas, an 85-metre ship launched in 2022 with 35 suites, a year-round infinity pool, spa and mini golf. Swim or kayak at Ao Ech and visit the Dark & Bright Cave in Lan Ha Bay.

Elite of the Seas joined the bay in 2022: 85 metres long, 35 suites for up to 99 guests. On board are an infinity pool you can use all year, a mini golf green, a wine and cigar cellar, a spa with sauna, a fitness room and a panoramic bar.

From Tuan Chau a speedboat takes you out to the ship, which heads for the quieter Lan Ha Bay. The afternoon is for swimming or kayaking at Ao Ech, then tea by the pool at sunset, a cooking demonstration and dinner. Morning starts with golf, Tai Chi and tea before a rowing boat or kayak trip to the Dark & Bright Cave.

Day 1: Hanoi – Tuan Chau – Lan Ha Bay
08:15–08:35: pick-up from your hotel in Hanoi if you book the transfer.
11:15–11:45: check in at the pier on Tuan Chau.
12:00: a speedboat takes you out to Elite of the Seas; you are on board around 12:15 with a welcome drink and safety briefing.
12:30: lunch as the ship sails towards Lan Ha Bay.
14:00: check in to your cabin.
15:00–17:00: Ao Ech area: swim, kayak or stay on board by the pool. Drone photos of the ship from about 16:30.
17:30: sunset tea by the pool.
18:00: cooking demonstration and happy hour until 19:00.
19:00: dinner in the restaurant.
20:30: squid fishing, mini golf or the spa. On Saturday and Sunday nights there are fireworks.

Day 2: Dark & Bright Cave – Tuan Chau – Hanoi
05:45: sunrise golf on the deck, then Tai Chi (06:15) and a tea ceremony (06:30).
06:45: light breakfast.
07:30: Dark & Bright Cave by rowing boat or kayak.
09:30: pack and check out.
09:45: brunch as the ship sails back; settle your bill around 10:15.
11:00: speedboat back to the harbour (about 11:15). With the transfer you reach Hanoi around 14:00–14:15.

The infinity pool on the top deck is open all year, with the karsts of Lan Ha Bay all around.
Into the Dark & Bright Cave
In the morning a rowing boat or kayak takes you through the cave to a lagoon closed in by cliffs.
