Hoa Lư: Cố Đô

Hoa Lu was the capital of Vietnam from 968 to 1009. Located in Truong Yen Thuong village, Hoa Lu district, Ninh Binh province, Hoa Lu is one of the rice fields divided by limestone mountains, about 90 km south of Hanoi.

The ancient capital of Hoa Lu lies in a flat valley between small but steep limestone mountains that form almost impenetrable barriers to human traffic. Even today, many of the mountains are only accessible to the mountain goats that roam the area.

Schedule Details

OPTION 1: HOA LU - TRANG AN - MUA CAVE - CUCLING
7h15-8h00 : Our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel. We take you to Ninh Binh province which is about 120 km far from Hanoi Old Quarter
9h00-9h15 : Have a short break for 20 minutes to relax.
10h15-10h30: Arrive to the restaurant and start cycling 20 minutes to Hoa Lu ancient capital, then park the bicycle and walk to visit Hoa Lu. This is the first capital of Vietnam, you will be impressed by the outstanding architecture when entering temples of King Dinh and King Le, the first and second emperors of ancient Vietnam, built in the 17th century.
( If you prefer not to cycle, we will transfer you by bus to Hoa Lu, where our tour guide will meet you and guide you to the temples. After the visit, we will transfer you back to the Restaurant. )
11h30 : Continue cycling tour 30 minutes more around the village to discover the life of local people and come back to the Restaurant.
12h00 : Lunch in 5-star style. You can enjoy panoramic views of the poetic mountains and rivers of Ninh Binh while enjoying delicious dishes.
13h00 - 13h30 : Visit Trang An, a World Heritage Site recognized by UNESCO in 2014. There, you can spend 1.5 - 2 hours on the boat ride to enjoy the beauty of this place, which has a beautiful tunnel cave system and appears in the New Version of Kong in 2016 – “Skull Island”.
16h00-16h30 : Get on the bus to go to Mua Cave ( Dancing Cave). Walk up almost 500 steps, you can reach the top of Lying Dragon Mountain, and have an amazing panoramic view of Tam Coc from here.
17h00 - 17h30 : Get on the Bus to return to Hanoi.
19h00 - 19h30: Arrive in Hanoi and get dropped off at the Hotel. The trip ends!

07h25 – 8h00: Get picked up by our friendly guide then depart for NinhBinh province

Pickup time depends on the location of tourists in Hanoi Old Quarter/Opera House

09h15: Have a short break for 15 – 20 minutes to relax

10h15: Visit Hoa Lu ancient capital of Vietnam between 968 and 1010. You have a chance to learn about Vietnamese history in the feudal system under Dinh, Le, and Ly Dynasty

Here, we go cycling around the village for sightseeing & discovering the life of the local people 

12h00: Have the buffet lunch at NinhBinh Excursion Restaurant designed with 5 stars-style with many local foods options such as goat meat, spring-rolls, fish, chicken, fried rice & vegetable salad….Vegetarian foods are always available in the buffet lunch

13h30: Visit Tam Coc by 1.5-hour bamboo boat.  You will be surprised by the charming beauty here with paddy fields, river, water, cloud, sky and a stunning cave system during the boat trip. All make a masterpiece that Vietnamese people called “Ha Long Bay on land”

15h30: Get back to Limousine Bus then leave for Mua Cave (Dragon Peak). Walk up almost 500 steps, you can reach the top of Lying Dragon Mountain & have an amazing panoramic view of Tam Coc from here. Besides, you can breath fresh air at very beautiful lotus paddy field nearby, especially in the summer time

17h00: Get on the bus to return to Hanoi

 

19h00: Get dropped off at Hotels in Hanoi.

10h30: Tham quan chùa Bái Đính – ngôi chùa nổi tiếng và lớn nhất Đông Nam Á với nhiều kỷ lục được xác lập như 500 bức tượng La Hán bằng đá, Chuông đồng nặng 36 tấn, Tượng Phật Thích Ca Mâu Ni nặng 100 tấn…

16h00: Quay lại xe Limousine rồi khởi hành đến Hang Múa (Đỉnh Rồng). Đi bộ lên gần 500 bậc thang, bạn có thể lên đến đỉnh Núi Rồng & ngắm toàn cảnh Tam Cốc tuyệt đẹp từ đây. Bên cạnh đó, bạn có thể hít thở không khí trong lành tại cánh đồng sen rất đẹp gần đó, đặc biệt là vào mùa hè

For children under 5 years old, they will be free of charge for the entire trip, sharing a room with adults. And every two adults are allowed to bring one child, from the second child is charged 85%.

From 1-4 years old: Free of charge, sharing the service with parents (Surcharged 15 usd/seat if request a private seat for child from 1-4 years old)

From 5-8 years old: 75% of charge (Appy for 1 child, the second child will be charged 100% of adults)

From 9 years old and up : 100% of adults
