Velar of the Seas Cruise 2 Days 1 Night – Ha Long Bay & Lan Ha Bay (Business Class)

A business-class cruise into quiet Lan Ha Bay: the Bright Cave by bamboo boat, swimming in emerald water, a sunset party at the Velar Sky Bar, a signature dinner, Tai Chi and kayaking at Tra Bau.

Lan Ha Bay is the quieter extension of Ha Long Bay: clear blue water, majestic limestone islands and fine white beaches, with far fewer boats.

A business-class cruise adds comfortable cabins, varied cuisine, a spa and time in the water to kayak and swim, for a relaxed escape into nature.

    Day 1 · Setting off

    Pick-up in Hanoi (if booked)

    Shuttle bus from your Old Quarter hotel if you book the transfer; guests staying elsewhere are picked up at Hanoi Opera House. Arrive at Tuan Chau harbour at 11:45.

    11:45–13:15

    Day 2 · Welcome aboard

    Tender to Velar of the Seas and lunch

    The cruise manager and crew welcome you with a briefing, then lunch as the cruise sails into Lan Ha Bay, less visited and more peaceful than Ha Long Bay.

    Day 3 · Hidden lagoon

    Bright Cave and swimming

    Visit the Bright Cave by bamboo boat rowed by local fishermen, a round lake ringed by trees and cliffs. Then swim in the emerald water.

    Day 4 · Golden hour

    Sunset party and cooking demonstration

    Fruit and snacks at the Velar Sky Bar with happy-hour prices, and a Vietnamese cooking demonstration of appetisers.

    Day 5 · Night on board

    Signature dinner and evening

    A signature dinner, then cocktails, spa treatments, films, squid fishing or the rooftop deck.

    Tai Chi or an early tea on the sundeck, then pastries, tea and coffee.

    Explore Lan Ha Bay by kayak around the Tra Bau area.

    Day 8 · Homeward

    Check-out, brunch and return

    Check out, enjoy a final brunch and say goodbye to the crew at 10:45–11:00. Tender to the wharf, then the bus to Hanoi at 11:45–12:10 if you booked the transfer.

Cancellation

Free cancellation up to 1 day before your trip: cancel at least 24 hours before the start date and time and we refund the full amount to the card or account you paid with. Cancellations less than 1 day before the start, and no-shows, are not refunded.

Notes

  • Children under 6 sharing with parents travel free (one per cabin); a second child pays 50%. Children 6–9 sharing with parents pay 75%. From 10 years old, the adult price applies.

Tuan Chau harbour at 11:45, or your Hanoi Old Quarter hotel / Hanoi Opera House if you book the transfer.
