    Meet at Hanoi Opera House and drive to Ha Thai lacquer village.

    An old craft

    Ha Thai lacquer village

    Ha Thai has been famous for lacquer since the 17th century. Artisans show you each step from preparation to finished piece, and you try the basic steps yourself.

    11:15–13:30

    Hands-on

    Chuong conical hat village and lunch

    Learn how conical hats are made and paint your own. You can also join a small cooking class with the host. Lunch and rest at a local's house.

    Quang Phu Cau incense village

    See and try how incense sticks are made for ancestor worship, and take photos among the colourful drying incense.

Good to know

Cancellation

Free cancellation up to 1 day before your trip: cancel at least 24 hours before the start date and time and we refund the full amount to the card or account you paid with. Cancellations less than 1 day before the start, and no-shows, are not refunded.

Notes

  • Children 6 and over pay the adult price (own seat and meal).
  • Children under 5 travel free sharing a seat and meals with their parents; maximum 1 free child per 2 adults.
