Peony Cruise 2 Days 1 Night: Ha Long Bay & Lan Ha Bay

A night on Peony Cruise, a 20-cabin boat with orange sails, a jacuzzi pool on deck and a spa. Kayak or swim at Tra Bau, a spring-roll class at sunset, and Trung Trang Cave on Cat Ba Island.

Peony Cruise comes in two sister boats of 20 cabins each, every cabin with a private balcony and hand-carved wooden decoration. On board are a restaurant and bar, a jacuzzi pool on the top deck, a gym, a sauna and a spa.

From Tuan Chau the boat sails into Lan Ha Bay. In the afternoon you kayak or swim at Tra Bau, then join a spring-roll class or watch the sunset from the top deck before dinner. In the morning, after Tai Chi and breakfast, a smaller boat takes you from Gia Luan to Trung Trang Cave on Cat Ba Island.

    Day 1: Tuan Chau – Lan Ha Bay – Tra Bau

    Kayaking in Lan Ha Bay

    08:00–08:30: pick-up in Hanoi's Old Quarter if you book the transfer.

    11:30: welcome at the Peony lounge on Tuan Chau.

    12:00: tender to the boat and a briefing on the itinerary.

    13:00: welcome drink and seafood lunch as the boat sails for Lan Ha Bay.

    15:30: Tra Bau: kayak between the islands, swim, or relax in the jacuzzi pool on board.

    18:00: spring-roll class, or sunset and happy hour on the top deck.

    19:00: dinner.

    21:00: drinks at the sky bar, a spa treatment, or squid fishing.

    Day 2: Cat Ba Island – Trung Trang Cave – Tuan Chau

    06:00: Tai Chi at sunrise.

    06:45: breakfast as the boat heads to Gia Luan.

    07:30–09:00: a smaller boat and a 30-minute ride take you to Trung Trang Cave on Cat Ba Island.

    09:30: back on board to check out, then lunch.

    10:30–11:00: disembark at Tuan Chau Marina.
